Blu Tack

The basis of this idea lies in hard durable products like Thumb Tacks, which leave destruction in their wake, usually a series of holes in your wall! A Thumb Tack and Sellotape were moulded to show strength without the destruction.
The factory piece is a collaboration between ourselves, Peggy O’Neill, and Steven Topley, an illustrator based in Derby (www.steventopley.co.uk) The idea was based around the ‘Blu Tackers’ who would get sticky on your behalf. It shows not only the products functional value in its stickiness but its creative capacity in that it can be used for fun too.
